Anita has been associated with the Firm for the past five years, focusing on non-litigation matters, with a primary practice in real estate, banking and finance. She also plays an active role in handling a wide range of regulatory and contractual compliances and supports senior partners in facilitation and execution of complex transactions.
Over the years with the Firm, Anita has gained significant experience in the real estate and banking and finance sectors. Leveraging this experience, she regularly reviews and analyses a wide range of documents, including loan agreements, term sheets, mortgage and hypothecation deeds, and other financing documents to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. In the real estate sector, her work primarily involves reviewing title documents, revenue records and SRO records, and preparing title search reports for banks and financial institutions and Asset Reconstruction Companies in connection with commercial and residential property transactions.
Anita also has valuable experience in handling matters relating to Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) on behalf of the Firm, particularly in connection with the acquisition of NPA accounts. Her works includes reviewing transaction documents, conducting legal due diligence, assisting in transaction structuring and drafting definitive agreements. In addition to transactional work, she regularly handles compliance-related matters, including statutory filings, regulatory reviews, and coordination with external consultants and authorities.
